Visiting Faculty Scheme
The Visiting Faculty Scheme is implemented in Government Engineering Colleges, Government Polytechnic Colleges, and Government Fine Arts Colleges under the Government of Kerala to enhance the quality of education by engaging experienced academicians, subject experts, and industry professionals.
The scheme aims to provide students with expert knowledge, practical insights, and industry-oriented learning experiences. It facilitates interaction with experienced professionals and promotes the sharing of current knowledge, skills, and technological advancements relevant to their fields of study.
The scheme is governed by G.O.(Rt) No. 622/2026/HEDN dated 03.06.2026, issued by the Higher Education Department, Government of Kerala, revising the existing guidelines for the Visiting Faculty Scheme.
