Centralized Walk-In Interview for the Selection of Engineering Graduate Apprentice Trainees

 A Centralized Walk-in Interview was organised on October 15 2022 by Department of Technical Education, Kerala in association with Board of Apprenticeship Training, Chennai at Government Polytechnic College, of engineering, Kalamassery for the selection of Engineering Graduate Apprentice trainees in all Engineering disciplines to various major industries all over Kerala.


            The Walk-in Interview was inaugurated by Sri Ramesh K M, Joint Director, Regional Directorate of Technical Education, Kozhikode. Smt Sheena C Assistant Director, Supervisory Development Centre, Kalamassery delivered the welcome speech. Smt Geetha Devi A S, Principal Government Polytechnic College Kalamassery, Smt Annie J Zenath, Principal Govt. Women's Polytechnic College Kalamassery, Sri Rajamoni R Assistant Director, Board of Apprenticeship Training Chennai and Sri Nazarudeen, Administrative Assistant offered   felicitations.   The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Smt Sindhu V S, Assistant Training Officer (in-charge).

 

Inaugural Function

 

 

35 major industries, companies and enterprises in Kerala including VSSC, LPSC, FACT, INFOPARK, TECHNOPARK, KSFDC, MILMA, TELK, MALABAR CEMENTS, TRAVACORE TITANIUM PRODUCTS, KELTRON etc participated in this Walk-in Interview. Around 900 students turned up for this recruitment drive, of which 597 students got opportunities for undergoing Apprenticeship in various industries. The highest number of vacancies was offered by VIKRAM SARABAI SPACE CENTRE being 169 in various Engineering disciplines.

Centralized Walk-In Interview
for the Selection of Diploma Apprentice Trainees

A Centralized Walk-in Interview for the selection of Diploma apprentice trainees jointly organised by Supervisory Development Centre, Department of Technical Education, Kerala and Board of Apprenticeship Training,Chennai was conducted on November 19th 2022 at GPTC, Kalamassery .  Smt Beena P, Senior Joint Director, poly stream inaugurated the mela. Smt Sheena C Assistant Director Supervisory Development Centre delivered Welcome speech. The meeting was chaired by Smt A S Chandrakanta Deputy Director SITTTR, Kalamassery.Smt Geetha Devi R , Principal Govt Polytechnic College Kalamassery, Women's Polytechnic College, Kalamassery Principal Shri Indulal B ,Board of Apprenticeship Training, Chennai Assistant Director Sri R Rajamoni offered felicitations. Assistant Training Officer in-charge Smt Swathi A G expressed Vote of thanks.

 

 Inauguration Function

Major industries in Kerala, Pondicherry, Kanchipuram and Chennai including KSEB, FACT, KEL, CIAL, KIAL, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM, ANERT TECHNOPARK, KELTRON, MILMA, TCC, NIRMITHI KENDRA, JCB, MANDO AUTOMOTIVE, POCLAIN participated in this Mela. The event witnessed huge participation of around 1400 diploma holders and 315 candidates were selected to various industries.

OPPAM
Mega Super Speciality Medical Camp

 

OPPAM- A Mega Super speciality medical camp , an initiative by minister T .Rajeev was organized on 2022 March 20 in GPTC Kalamassery, The programme was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by eminent doctors -Dr Tony Fernandes, Dr Jose Chacko Periyappuram, Dr Philip Augustine, Dr N Vijaya Kumar, Dr Junaid Rahman, Medical College Principal Dr Kala Kesavan, Cochin cancer centre Director Dr P G Balagopal, Ernakulam DMO V Jayasree, Ayurveda DMO E A Sonia and Homeo DMO Leena Rani . Specialty and Super-specialty services in the field of allopathic treatment, as well as ayurveda and homoeopathy treatment facilities were available in the camp. The services of specialist doctors from all major government/private hospitals in Ernakulam district were available in the camp. The diagnosis and medicines were made available free of cost to all the participants in the camp. Moreover, free cataract surgery and spectacles were provided to the participants.
