Electronics & Communication Engineering

The combination of two major branches of engineering, Electronics and Communication, is one of the largest and fastest growing sectors of the present industry. Electronics engineering distinguishes itself from other technical trades by the constant redefinition of its sphere of influence.

This stream of engineering deals with analog transmission, basic electronics, microprocessors, solid-state devices, digital and analog communication, analog integrated circuits, microwave engineering, satellite communication, antennae, and wave progression. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment.

The future of technology advancements is likely to depend on the developments in the electronics and communication field. Electronics and communication are the two primary pillars of our society these days. In the coming years, the trend will continue, and ECE will eventually emerge as one of the most prominent fields of engineering studies with substantial demand for ECE engineers all over the world.

HOD's Message

The discipline of Electronics & Communication Engineering is dynamic and ever evolving. The people across the world are able to connect in no time because of fast growth in this field. This calls for equivalent changes in Academia to cope with the changes. Electronics serves as the foundation for Information Technology and Computer Engineering.

The vision of the department is to produce qualified and technically proficient engineers to serve industry and various research organizations. This is achieved by imparting in depth theoretical knowledge during the lectures followed by hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories.

I am confident that the staff members and students would satisfy the responsibility and credibility of the department by showing a high level of professional competency in their respective domain.
