ACTIVITY REPORT
Overview
The association of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is a teachers-student body run by students and staff of the department. It aims at motivating the students to improve their personal, academic, technical and soft skills and to provide ample opportunities for realizing their ideas. The main motive of this association is to ensure unity among its members.
Objective
- To encourage academic classes, skill development training program, and
- other extracurricular activities for uplifting the students.
- To organize various seminars and workshops on latest technologies to
- enhance overall development of students
- To organize technical and non-technical events to improve the leadership
- quality among the students.

Association Activities Report 2021-2022
THARANG-2021 the Association of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized inauguration programme for the academic year 2021-2022 with the able leadership of Lr. M. T. Muraleedharan, Head of the Department (in-charge), Lr. Reshma U, Staff Coordinator, along with the student representatives Nikhil M. M. (Vice President, S5), Abhinanth Sajish (Secretary, S3). We began the activities of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Association for the academic year 2021-2022 with an inauguration on 16th December 2021 at
10.00 am in the Open Auditorium, GPTC Kalamassery. Mr. P. M. John, SDE BSNL (Rtd) & Alumini, was the Chief Guest to deliver the Inaugural address. Mrs. Geetha Devi, Principal GPTC Kalamassery presided over the function. Mrs. Reshma U., Lecturer- Staff coordinator, EEE Dept. welcomed the gathering and Mr. Nikhil M. M., student member-Association Vice President proposed the vote of thanks. A state level quiz programme for the EEE Diploma students – “GO ELECTRIC” was conducted on 15th December 2021 in association with the inauguration program to be held on 16th December 2021.

Details Of Departmental Parent-Teachers Meeting. The Department conducted the Parent Teachers Meet on 9th December 2021 for semester 5 students and on 20th December 2021 for semester 3 students at 2 pm in open Auditorium. The details of the various resources and facilities available in the department and the College were discussed. The previous semester university exam result and current semester internal examination report cards were distributed
to parents. All the faculty members of the department were present for the meeting.
