The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been the heart and spirit of this institution right from its inception in 1951. This is one of the biggest departments of this institution in terms of student strength, technical staff and faculty. The department offers three year Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering.The department also offers various certificate courses related to ‘Fluid Power’ in association with IIPC cell & BOSCH company. The Mechanical Engineering department has been producing exceptional academic results on a consistent basis ever since its inception.
